MAKING HISTORY SINCE 1968

Established in 1968, Kelab Golf Negara Subang (KGNS) is one of the prominent clubs in Malaysia. KGNS owes its origins to one man - Tunku Abdul Rahman, Father of Malaysia and our first Prime Minister. Historically, it began as the Seaport Estate, a rubber plantation that dates back into the distant past of that industry. Subsequently, the momentous decision to build a new golf course for Kuala Lumpur at that site was taken sometime in 1963. The golf course later went by several different names, including Kelab Golf Kebangsaan Subang and Sungei Way Golf Course. It is noteworthy that Kelab Golf Negara Subang is the only golf club in Malaysia to have been established by an Act of Parliament.
